Utilizing gallium nitride-on-silicon (GaN-on-Si) technology, the new white LEDs produce low forward voltage (VF) and reduce costs in lighting applications.
Available forward voltages are 2.85V at 350mA (TL1L2 series) and 5.76V at 100mA (TL3GB series). Luminous efficacy for the TL1L2 series is 135 lm/W (5000K, Ra70) at 1W (lf=350mA), while for the TL3GB series it is 118 lm/W (5000K, Ra80) at 0.6W (lf=100mA). The color temperature range is 2700K to 6500K, with six options available.
Mass production of both series will begin at the end of March.
