These families can efficiently control (up to 98%) a single LED or multiple LEDs connected in series from a voltage ranging from 8.5V to 40V.

Designs using these drivers require very few external components, operate at a switching frequency of 1MHz, and support temperatures from -40°C to +105°C.
For the 7x20 family, the current intensity can be controlled via the ADJ pin using a DC voltage, PWM, or a signal generated by an MCU. The output can be disabled simply by applying a voltage below 0.2V to the AD pin, which puts the driver into low-power mode.
In the case of the 7x30 family, the difference is that they include a "Switch dimming" function that detects when a switch is activated to adjust the output current, allowing dimming functions without changing the original design of the lighting system. It can be configured using the DIM1 and DIM2 pins for 2 or 3 intensity levels, and the current for each intensity level.
