These cabinets incorporate the CV30-PV variable frequency drive (VFD) and, depending on the model, also include the BOOST MOD-320-PV boost module, which significantly reduces the number of panels required. They feature the necessary protections at the solar panel input (surge protector and DC circuit breaker), as well as at the AC input, if present (circuit breaker and contactor). Since the distance between the VFD and the pump is often considerable, all models are fitted with an output ferrite core to prevent potential pump damage. For longer cable runs (typically over 100 meters), enclosed sinusoidal filters are available as an option.
For complete system control, they integrate a hydrolevel sensor and a digital timer. This allows the pump to be protected against dry running and enables the system's operating periods to be set.
The primary application of the ACV30-PV solar pumping cabinets is agricultural irrigation, which can be achieved by accumulating water in a tank or reservoir for later use, or by direct irrigation from a well. Other applications include domestic consumption in isolated areas, water supply for livestock, fish farming, municipal and forestry irrigation, desertification, etc
