ecocultor-renewables-wand is capable of performing various tasks in the field of agriculture and livestock farming, such as plowing, harvesting and transport, as it allows for the exchange of different tools on its axle.

According to Patricio Lupiáñez, president of CETEMET, “this innovative product incorporates a high-performance electric motor, complemented by a smart battery charger that optimizes charging based on the battery's condition and the renewable energy available at any given time. This makes it ideal for disadvantaged areas or those with limited access to conventional energy sources.” In the words of the Technology Center representative, “one of the ECOCULTOR's key features is its versatility. A trailer can be added for transporting goods, and various implements for soil aeration, tilling, or crop harvesting can also be incorporated.”.

In this regard, CETEMET is contributing to the industrialization of this product by improving its production process and optimizing manufacturing costs. Furthermore, the Technology Center located in Linares is also redesigning machinery components to enhance its market position. “At this stage, we are trying to unlock the full potential of ECO MOTOR ELECTRIC to maximize its benefits. This is a sector with significant growth potential where we have the capacity to design, prototype, and certify any type of machine,” adds Lupiáñez.

Innovation and sustainability

Dedicated to the development of vehicles and mechanical-electronic equipment that use electricity as their energy source, ECO MOTOR ELECTRIC has also created an electric bicycle with a range of 50 kilometers for urban travel, capable of reaching speeds of up to 65 km/h, and approved by the Ministry of Industry. In 2010, this company won first prize in the 'Best Business Project' category at the 11th edition of the Emprende e Innova Award, organized by the Jaén Provincial Council.

In this way, CETEMET is committed to R&D&I within this sector, whose trend in terms of transportation is based on non-polluting, efficient, and sustainable technologies with improved performance that meet current mobility needs. This shift in the energy model also influences transportation in general, as it is projected that by 2020, 20% of vehicles on the road will be electric.
