The Cebekit C-9738 consists of a clock mechanism, analog signaling, a small photovoltaic panel, a methacrylate panel base, and the electronic components necessary for the complete clock assembly.
The assembly is virtually straightforward, requiring only the electronic soldering of the control board components, securing the needle movement mechanism with screws, attaching the switch and the LED, and some manipulation of the acrylic base, which needs to be heated in a couple of spots to create two supports.
All the steps are clearly described in the illustrated step-by-step instructions included in the kit manual.
Once the assembly is complete, the Cebekit C-9738 becomes an easy-to-read solar-powered desktop clock with night illumination and unlimited autonomy thanks to the constant charging on an AA-type battery, supplied by the electronic circuit and its photovoltaic panel.
The kit also includes machining plans that allow you to do without the methacrylate base and use other designs or alternative materials on which you wish to apply the clock.
Especially suitable as a project in technology classrooms, an introduction to photovoltaics, or as scientific entertainment. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
