The gears, belts, and rotary drive chains of the past are no longer used. iTRAK replaces that hardware with simple and efficient software profiles that redefine speed and flexibility in automation.
This technology improves performance in a wide range of applications, including packaging, material handling, medical devices, and other applications for the global machinery manufacturing market.
iTRAK technology enables independent control of multiple magnetic drive motors along straight and curved rails. The system allows machinery and equipment manufacturers to reduce cost and complexity, while enabling end users to standardize on a single platform for better optimization, improved reliability, and faster system implementation.
At PACK EXPO 2012, KHS unveiled its latest K-series packaging machine design, the Innopouch K400, a simplex/duplex machine capable of forming, filling, and sealing either a single large vertical pouch or two smaller vertical pouches. The K400 is equipped with an iTRAK system, transforming it into a single-pass machine with independent control of each pouch.
