These panels are equipped with a novel solar position tracking system, which achieves high levels of concentration of solar rays and increases the efficiency of the installations.
This new development, a finalist in the Clean Launchpad European Grand Final, increases energy production by 30% to 40% and halves energy bills. Furthermore, it requires no additional materials for installation and can be mass-produced.
Maximum Production:
Thanks to their ability to track the sun's position, unlike fixed panels that only produce a peak power output at midday, the new panels designed by Solarays and AIMPLAS are always at maximum power. "This ensures stable generation and avoids problems with excess energy and energy storage," explains the company representative. "Furthermore, as it is a hybrid electric/thermal system, it increases the overall efficiency of the panel to up to 70%."
The company is currently in the certification phase, and a 5 kWp pilot plant is being developed for this purpose. The business objective is to achieve a turnover of €100 million within four years, with a 20% profit margin and 10% investment in R&D.
