The characteristic IV curves can be defined by the user using data tables or parameters from the photovoltaic panel manufacturer. All data can be entered via a touchscreen or PC software. Irradiation scenarios can be programmed in real time. It also supports partial shading of the simulated panels. The PV emulator is capable of generating different curves for varying irradiance levels with voltages up to 700 Vdc and different power ranges: 10 kVA, 30 kVA, 70 kVA, and 120 kVA.
The teknoCEA DS02-PV1 PV emulator is galvanically isolated and can be connected to transformer and transformerless inverters.
