The new XS26-2 controller monitors numerous input devices, including emergency stop buttons, pull cords, trigger devices, safety stop buttons, interlocking gates or guards, optical sensors, two-hand controls, and safety mats.
A wide variety of options and configurations allows users to purchase only the capabilities they need, with the option to add more in the future. The basic controller already offers 26 inputs and two dual safety outputs, allowing users to connect safety devices to a single controller instead of multiple relay modules. Eight of its 26 inputs can be configured as outputs for efficient terminal utilization.
Applications include automation, packaging, aerospace, material handling, quality control, security, lumber, tire and rubber, metallurgy, plastics, printing, electronics, and more.
The basic controller can handle up to eight optional expansion modules to monitor up to 128 I/O devices. It is suitable for medium and large machines and assembly lines, both manual and automated. The free software included with the controller provides an intuitive graphical programming environment for easy implementation.
It is very easy to use thanks to the real-time information displayed on the screen and the intuitive configuration of the functional diagram. Its compact DIN rail housing, only 45mm wide x 110mm high, saves space on the control panel. The controller is certified according to Safety Category 4, PL e.
