The GP-DP004N-16V provides 200mA of power to the DALI bus. DALI is the new standard lighting control system that offers precise control, increased lighting efficiency, logarithmic dimming, and a simplified lighting network topology. A DALI network can have up to 64 independent devices, organized into up to 16 groups. Each DALI network requires power from the bus, and the GP-DP004N-16V supplies 200mA of current at 16V, enough to power a complete DALI network (128mA) with excess current to power DALI devices without integrated power supplies.
As an established global standard, DALI products are inter-compatible, making the installation of lighting control systems very easy. The GP-DP004N-16V is compatible with GlacialLight DALI devices and other brands, such as the GL-DA02 DALI Converter, which interconnects 1-10V analog LED drivers to a digital DALI network. A DALI system powered by the GP-DP004N-16V can operate with up to 300m of network cabling without losing more than 2V on a single line.
