Thanks to their wide input range of 85 to 132 V DC and 170 to 264 V AC, they can be connected to power grids worldwide. They feature a slim design (45 mm for the 5 A version and 55 mm for the 10 A version), a high efficiency of up to 94%, and a high overload capacity. They can be used in operating temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
The new power supplies feature compact and robust metal housings and offer extensive functions such as automatic voltage switching for operation on 120 and 230 V AC single-phase networks. Thanks to their overload capacity of three times the nominal current for 25 ms and 1.5 times for 5 s, they have ample power reserves for overload situations, such as high inrush currents.
Their high efficiency of up to 94% ensures low energy consumption and reduced heat loss. Furthermore, they can be remotely activated or deactivated to save energy during outages, for example. Thanks to the integrated signaling contact, the power supply can be quickly and easily integrated into a plant monitoring system. The "DC OK," "Overload," and "Shut Down" LEDs indicate the unit's operating status.
The installation space required is minimal thanks to its reduced width of 45 mm in the 5 A version and 55 mm in the 10 A version, eliminating the need for clearance from adjacent devices. The 10 A version is the narrowest power supply in its performance class. Furthermore, users can expand the power supply with SITOP redundant modules, selective cutoff and diagnostic modules, backup modules, and DC UPS modules for even greater reliability.
