For high efficiency, the FETA3000BA includes an active filter and uses a phase-shift, full-bridge topology that offers an efficiency level of up to 93%.

Designed for industrial applications and semiconductor equipment, the FETA3000BA complies with the SEMI-F47 standard.
With an input voltage range of 170 to 264VAC, the FETA3000BA-48 delivers an output voltage of 48VDC, adjustable from 38.40 to 52.80VDC using the built-in potentiometer, or from 15.00 to 52.80VDC using the trim function available on the rear connector. The rated output current is 62A, and the efficiency is up to 93% at a 230VAC input.
Utilizing COSEL's digital power control technology, the FETA3000BA series incorporates sophisticated voltage and current balance control. This simplifies the task for system integrators when connecting units in parallel or series. This technology allows up to 10 units to be connected in parallel without adding any external components. The advanced digital control also manages switching parameters to optimize efficiency, thereby reducing energy consumption.

“Power supplies, which used to be a mass of analog technologies, have been undergoing major changes since the beginning of the century. Previously controlled by on/off switching devices in an analog circuit based on monitoring the output voltage, they are now digitally controlled by microprocessors and software,” said Mr. Todo, Manager of the Standards Design Department at COSEL. “Cosel began developing its own digital control technology at an early stage. By incorporating digital control technology into analog circuits, Cosel has achieved power supplies with higher-level features, from which the FETA3000BA is fully benefiting.”

The FETA3000BA complies with the SEMI F47 semiconductor standard, which requires semiconductor processing equipment to tolerate voltage drops on its AC power line.
To reduce audible noise, the FETA3000BA series is equipped with a thermoregulated fan whose speed automatically adjusts to optimize cooling for specific environments.
Designed for industrial settings, the FETA3000BA series can operate within a temperature range of -10 to +70°C, 20–90% RH (non-condensing), and up to a maximum altitude of 3,000 m (10,000 ft). Depending on the cooling and mounting method, power reduction may apply.

The FETA3000BA includes an input filter and complies with FCC Part 15-A, CISPR32-A, EN55032-A, and VCCI-A. For applications requiring greater attenuation of conducted noise, COSEL recommends the NAC-20-472 filter.
The product is UL62368-1, C-UL (CSA62368-1), and EN62368-1 safety certified.
Designed for integrated 1U industrial applications, the FETA3000BA measures 102 x 41 x 340 mm (4.02 x 1.61 x 13.39 in) (W x H x D) and weighs a maximum of 2.3 kg.
The FETA3000BA is suitable for a wide range of applications, including measurement and analysis equipment, machine tools, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. They comply with the RoHS directive and have the CE mark in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive.

For higher power requirements, COSEL offers two FETA7000 models: the FETA7000T with a 170-264VAC three-phase input, and the FETA7000ST with a 300-480VAC three-phase/four-wire input. Both models are available in two output versions, 48V and 144V, delivering up to 7488W
