Compared to the HVG(C)-100, the HVG(C)-150 series features an increased input voltage range of 180–528VAC, making them suitable for standard European 230VAC inputs and capable of operating on typical 347/440/480VAC inputs in the United States, Japan, and Canada.
Designed for constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) operation, the HVG-150 models offer low output voltage (max. 54VDC), while the HVGC-150 models offer high output voltage (max. 428VDC). Both series incorporate two-stage PFC, meeting the harmonic current limitation requirements of EN61000-3-2 Class C (>50–55% load) and a PF factor >0.9 for loads exceeding 50% (>70% load at 480VAC). Furthermore, they have up to 4KV insulation (EN61000-4-5), meeting public lighting requirements.
The HVG(C)-150 series offers three options (type A/B/D) with different mechanisms and functions. With option A of the HVG model, users can adjust the constant current range from 50% to 100% and the voltage output by ±10% by removing the rubber plug from the cover. With option A of the HVGC-150, users can adjust the voltage range from 60% to 100%. Type B models are equipped with a three-in-one dimming function (0~10VDC, PWM, resistor), while the optional Type D models incorporate a "timer for step dimming" function that can be modified and adapted to customer needs upon request. Furthermore, these two series boast up to 91.5% efficiency, can be cooled by free air convection from -40°C to +70°C ambient temperature, and meet the high-temperature requirements for enclosed systems.
For outdoor use, they are designed with an aluminum housing coated with a special thermally conductive resin, providing IP65 and IP67 protection. Along with standard protection against short circuits, overvoltage, overload, and overtemperature, they comply with global certifications such as UL/CUL/FCC for the HVG-150 and UL/CUL/TUV/CB/FCC/CE for the HVGC-150, including UL8750 and EN61347-2-13 Lighting Regulation standards. They are ideally suited for use in street lighting, LED high bay lights, outdoor lighting, parking lots, and more.
