The new series lives up to its name, PrestoMOS™, as it features low trr (reverse recovery time) characteristics for high speed, high-speed switching, high efficiency, and low losses, making it ideal for integrating power supply inverters, lighting, motor controllers, solar batteries, power conditioners, high-frequency shunt circuits, and other applications requiring high-performance operation.
Utilizing cutting-edge ion-generating technology and novel high-voltage processes, the PrestoMOS series achieves remarkably low on-resistance, minimal Qg, and high speed for increased inverter efficiency, while also reducing the number of external components. Its built-in high-speed trr diode eliminates the need for an external FRD (fast recovery diode), requiring only a small mounting area, making it ideal for miniature applications. Compared to conventional 600V/8V products, not only the trr but also the lrr value and losses have been significantly improved.
