The NXP LPC546xx-M4 microcontrollers are powered by a 180 MHz ARM® Cortex®-M4 core with up to 512 KB of onboard flash memory and up to 200 KB of SRAM, plus a Quad Flash SPI Interface (SPIFI) for expanding program memory. The ARM core includes a Floating Point Unit (FPU) and a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) that separates memory into distinct regions to improve embedded system reliability.

The LPC546xx-M4 microcontrollers offer more than 21 communication interfaces, including 10 Flexible Serial Interfaces, as well as Ethernet support, a controller, a TFT LCD, and two CAN FD modules. The devices feature a programmable power management unit (PMU) that minimizes power consumption and matches power requirements at different performance levels. The devices operate at low power with active-mode currents as low as 3.3 mA and a standby current consumption of 22 μA.

Mouser also offers the LPCXpresso54608 development board. Designed for quick and easy prototyping and evaluation, LPCXpresso development boards work with the LPCXpresso and MCUXpresso integrated development environments (IDEs) or with toolchains from industry-leading partners. The LPCXpresso54608 development board comprises the LPC54608 target device and a Link2 debug probe with CMSIS-DAP and SEGGER J-Link protocol options. The board also includes a PMod-compatible expansion port and a 10-pin SWD connector for use with third-party debug probes. For
