6565a hrs-wThe development of highly sophisticated motor control applications in modern devices requires several functions, including multiple communication channels that can communicate with the main control devices and peripherals, interfaces for reading numerical values from sensors, and a timer function that can provide pulses to control a motor, such as a stepper motor or a DC motor.

Packaged in an LQFP64 package measuring only 10 mm by 10 mm, with a 0.5 mm pin pitch, the microcontroller has just 64 pins. The TMPM037FWUG integrates an 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter and a 10-channel 16-bit timer with a programmable pulse generator (PPG).

The microcontroller also integrates a 6-channel serial interface (5 SIO/UART channels, 1 I2C channel), which eliminates the need for interface expansion ICs and also helps reduce manufacturing costs. It also has a bit-band processing function that supports access to and control of specific bits. This increases the efficiency of bit manipulation and allows for optimization of the product's small-capacity flash memory, which comprises 128 KB of Flash and 16 KB of SRAM.

Using the same ARM® Cortex® M0 core as the TX03 and TX04 series, the TMPM037FWUG can improve efficiency and reduce development costs since development tools can be shared across medium and large systems. The M0 core has a maximum operating frequency of 20 MHz and an operating voltage range of 2.3V to 3.6V.
