TeSys LR9D relays have a wide adjustment range (5:1) and are rated for currents from 0.1 A to 110 A. The trip class (5, 10, 20, or 30) can be selected, allowing customers to adjust the reaction time and choose the level of protection they require for specific applications.
All new electronic overload relays are insensitive to local ambient temperature, providing accurate overload diagnosis.
TeSys LR9D electronic relays can be installed directly with the contactor, although they can also be DIN rail mounted, as they are fully compatible—up to 32A with an additional accessory; the 110A model includes it as standard. These electronic relays are designed for a compact version (45 mm up to 32A), allowing them to fit in standard enclosures and thus saving space. Furthermore, the option of direct mounting with TeSys D contactors, available for relays up to 32A, reduces installation time and simplifies the control architecture. Self-powered operation eliminates the need for an external power supply.
They also feature a trip indicator LED and four reset modes: Manual, Manual with Stop function, Automatic, and Automatic with Stop function; all selectable simply by turning the selector switch.
Thanks to the combination of multiple functionalities in a single range of electronic overload relays, the selection and number of part numbers for motor protection devices is greatly simplified. TeSys LR9D relays comply with IEC, UL, CSA, and CCC standards.
