The "Connector Selector" tool aims to change this situation and will be available through Harwin's website, complementing the company's existing technical support and digital resources. These include a virtual showroom, a cable configurator, an availability checker, and downloadable CAD models from Supplyframe and TraceParts.

Instead of relying on series names or part numbers, engineers and buyers can use the tool's guided visual interface to quickly find the right connector configuration without having to navigate through long lists, multiple tabs, or complex instructions. Searches can be refined based on requirements, including the number of contacts, current or power per contact, contact pitch, connector type and configuration, mounting and termination style, operating environment, and mechanical requirements.

This allows for quick modification of features, guiding customers to the configuration and part number best suited to their needs. Relevant information is then generated, including technical data sheets, drawings, 3D models, and product specifications, with real-time representations of the created CAD models available for download.
