These new series of power relays have been specially designed for mission-critical applications in commercial aviation, defense, and space. These devices offer reliable power supply along with global technical support, ensuring that aerospace and defense customers have the long-term reliability and warranty they need for their missions.
The series provides 25A in a 3PDT configuration and various versions for design flexibility. Available options include suppressed or non-suppressed coil voltages of 6–48 VDC and 115 VAC, mounting with or without tabs in different orientations, straight or J-shaped terminals, and tin or gold plating.
Microchip's BR235 and BR235D series are the benchmark for high-reliability relays, delivering exceptional performance in extreme environments, such as 30G vibration testing and 200G mechanical shock testing. These relays are also designed to withstand temperatures from -70°C to 125°C.
“Microchip understands the urgent need within the aerospace and defense industries for a consistent and reliable supply of high-reliability relays. Our BR235 and BR235D relays have been designed to achieve the highest levels of reliability and performance for mission-critical applications,” stated Leon Gross, corporate vice president of Microchip’s discrete products group. “While other suppliers are shifting their priorities or limiting their support, Microchip remains steadfast in its commitment to consistently deliver the reliable solutions that meet our customers’ challenges.”.
