The micro-step system increases contact density for greater space savings and improved performance of Samtec's Tiger Eye™ contacts, which are designed for high reliability and high mating cycles.
The Tiger Eye™ SESDT Series is available in a dual-row design with up to 40 total positions in a 0.80 mm (0.0315") pitch and 32 AWG Teflon® wire for use in high-temperature and other harsh environments. Heavy-duty latching is standard on the assembly with a choice of single or double ends. Components are also available (ISDE/CC396 Series) along with a hand tool or mini applicator for customer assembly production. The board-level connector (TEM Series with optional -L1 latching) offers standard surface-mount terminations along with through-hole solder lugs for added stability.
Additional Tiger Eye™ discrete connection systems include 1.27 mm (0.050") pitch assemblies (SFSX/TFSX Series) and 2.00 mm (0.0787") pitch assemblies (S2SD/T2SD Series). These Tiger assemblies Eye™ features high contact reliability and is ready for many cycle applications.
