The DVP series of digital servo drives from DigiFlex Performance (DP) is designed to control brushed, brushless, and induction servomotors. The series is characterized by its compact form factor, making it ideal for embedded applications. POWERLINK complements the drive's standard CANopen interface and facilitates high-performance motion control.

Each new generation of mobile devices is more automated than the last, and the traditional CAN bus can no longer handle the amount of information required. POWERLINK offers all CAN functions and adds real-time capabilities. At the same time, it provides sufficient bandwidth to remotely and securely process real-time video on the HMI.

DP servo drives are designed exclusively for mobile applications and cover a wide continuous power range up to a peak of 12.5 kW for 20-54 VDC supplies. DP servo drives for mobile applications are available in an IP65-rated vehicle-mounted enclosure to meet the evolving requirements of mobile installations.

DP servo drives can be configured to operate multiple types of electric motors, including BLDC and PMAC motors, closed-loop induction motors, closed-loop stepper motors, PM brushed motors, voice coil motors, and inductive loads. By incorporating 5V incremental encoders, DP servo drives can be configured for different operating modes. This allows them to be used for torque, speed, or positioning control in a wide variety of automated mobile applications.
