Murata has introduced the DE1 Type RB series of safety ceramic capacitors with Class X1 terminals. This series is suitable for use in high-voltage industrial applications such as three-phase power supplies or inverters driving three-phase motors, and is rated at 760 volts AC (RMS) for Class X1 use.
The DE1 series can also be used as a Y1 class capacitor to connect an AC line to ground, and is therefore rated at 500 volts AC (RMS).
Available in standard values from 10 pF to 4,700 pF, the DE1 series has an outer diameter size of 6.0 to 14.0 mm depending on the values.
