Rated for use in temperatures ranging from -55 to 125 degrees Celsius and available in both COG and X7R dielectrics, Goldmax radially leaded high voltage MLCCs feature KEMET's advanced ceramic technology in one of the world's most versatile form factors.
"KEMET's radially leaded MLCCs are versatile and highly robust capacitance solutions that are well-suited for a variety of applications," says Rogelio González, Operations Director at KEMET. "The key feature is the lead connection termination system, which ensures exceptional mechanical robustness in environments with high and harsh vibrations."
Leaded MLCCs are often a preferred solution in application environments prone to printed circuit board (PCB) or component failure. They can be mounted by soldering or crimping, eliminating the need for a PCB and resulting in both space and cost savings. Furthermore, radially leaded capacitors are non-polar and can be easily integrated into an existing circuit.
Goldmax high voltage capacitors are designed for a variety of applications, such as power supplies, automotive keyless entry systems, temperature sensors, LED lighting, and electric motors.
