The DMM series low-profile metal connectors, with a 2 mm pitch, meet the performance requirements of MIL-DTL-83513G and allow for a much wider selection of configurations compared to other military-spec connectors such as Micro-D or Sub-D. Highly modular, the contacts can be configured for signal (LF), power (HP), and coaxial (HF), with up to ten million configurations for board-to-board, board-to-cable, cable-to-cable, or panel mounting.
The MIL-DTL-55302F CMM series 2 mm pitch connectors also offer signal, power, and coaxial connections with over 20 million possible configurations. They save up to 60% of space and up to 50% of weight compared to other connectors offering the same functionality. Shock and vibration resistant, oxygen-free, radiation resistant, and capable of withstanding temperature cycles from -6°C to +250°C, CMM connectors have proven their ability to withstand the rigors of numerous space applications.
With a 1.27 mm pitch, the MIL-DTL-83513-compliant EMM series is over 40% smaller than its CMM matrix counterpart, or 20% smaller than Micro-D. Key features include reversed contacts, integrated 90-degree back shielding, and interchangeable hardware. Extreme modularity is again offered, with 4 to 60 signal contacts for board-to-board (thanks to the safe erase length) and board-to-cable configurations.
