It natively supports operating temperatures between -40 and 125 °C. And all this to guarantee great durability in critical high-temperature applications, such as in the military, vehicles, mining and heavy industry.

The Advantech SQR-SD4E is designed with Micron's original industrial-grade DRAM IC and a 30µ” gold-finger PCB, supporting operating temperatures from -40 to 125°C. The SQR-SD4E series has undergone long-run and stress testing to ensure reliability. It also supports SODIMM and comes in 8GB/16GB/32GB capacities with a data transfer rate of 3200 MT/s.

The Advantech SQR-SD4E delivers both robustness and performance. A reinforcement technique is used to provide stronger structural support between the DRAM chip and the substrate, effectively reducing edge stress. At the same time, it is better protected against moisture and other environmental hazards, improving the memory module's stability and durability.

The SQR-SD4E SQRAM offers a heat dissipation solution with various options for different use cases. Additional heatsinks can dissipate more heat and keep the module temperature low enough to prevent overheating during operation. Having more heatsinks can improve the memory module's durability in the most demanding environments.

Advantech's SQRAM incorporates its own SQ Manager software, which monitors the DRAM in real time to provide useful information such as dynamic memory speed, temperature, and an advanced overheating alert to keep users informed about the operating health of the memory system. SQ Manager can be run as part of the system to manage temperature in real time. To maintain system performance stability, the flexibility of Advantech's unique software supports both cloud-based control mode and local versions on each device, which are available for free download from the Advantech website.
