This Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC is a robust SOM powered by NXP's best-in-class i.MX 8M Mini application processor, with optional Sona™ Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth® 5.3/5.4 wireless modules based on Infineon and NXP solutions, and the NXP PF8121 power management IC.
The Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC is available in a standard 82 x 50 mm SMARC 2.1.1 form factor and with several high-performance memory options. Software compatible with the Nitrogen8M Mini SMARC includes Yocto Linux, Buildroot Linux, Android, Ubuntu, Zephyr RTOS, and FreeRTOS. The SOM is specified for an industrial temperature range of -40 to +85 °C (commercial range of 0 to +70 °C), has a 10-year product lifecycle, and is ideal for smart buildings and appliances, industrial IoT (IIoT), HMIs, touchscreens and monitors, vision systems, the food and beverage industry, and medical devices.
