Exceptional power and control
The new EPOS4 Module/Compact 60/20 STO electronics are optimized for applications that demand high power density and precision in motion control:
• 1,200 W continuous power and up to 2,400 W maximum power for several seconds.
• 20 A continuous current and 40 A maximum current.
• Compatible with DC and brushless motors and supports multiple feedback systems: Hall sensors, incremental, absolute and SSI encoders.
Advanced control algorithms
The EPOS4 range incorporates modern control techniques that allow for precise and efficient regulation:
• FOC (Field-Oriented Control)
• Feed Forward
• Observer-based control. In addition, amplified brake outputs with voltage reduction are included, making it easier to integrate into systems with specific braking requirements.
Firmware updated
The new firmware version for the entire EPOS4/IDX range includes:
• CiA-402 objects for compatibility with master environments
• Torque compensation in cyclic modes
