The Lauterbach PowerDebug E50 provides developers with enhanced performance for tackling both simple and complex debugging tasks and can be expanded to log program flow and data access in real time. Optionally, this information can be correlated with captured digital and analog signals.
Compatible with over 15,000 devices across more than 150 chip architectures, the PowerDebug E50 offers unlimited multicore debugging, enabling simultaneous debugging of all cores within a SoC, regardless of its architecture. With breakpoint synchronization and runtime control, engineers have complete control over the entire system.
The PowerDebug E50's enhancements include a debug controller that is three times faster and the option of Gigabit Ethernet for remote access, in addition to the standard USB 3 connection. This allows engineers to securely share their target system with colleagues in another country using IPv4 or the modern IPv6. Furthermore, the PowerDebug E50 can be powered by 12V sources, simplifying its use in environments such as automotive applications.
Engineers who begin development in emulators, simulators, or virtual targets with Lauterbach's PowerView software can reuse all their work when debugging and analyzing real chips with the PowerDebug E50 in later stages of development. The test automation scripts, functionalities, and user experience remain unchanged.
