These modules are based on Qualcomm's high-performance, low-power Dragonwing processors, which deliver advanced technology for customized solutions. Qualcomm's Dragonwing processors, with their advanced distributed AI and interconnectivity capabilities, target embedded systems across various industries. These processors are designed to provide speed, scalability, and reliability, enabling customers to make smarter decisions, improve efficiencies, and get to market faster.

This means that the new Tria range offers a powerful combination of CPU and AI with minimal power consumption, thus enabling embedded designs to achieve higher performance and greater capabilities.

Microsoft Windows on ARM is now available.
Tria now also provides Microsoft Windows on ARM, making it possible to switch from x86 to ARM architecture with the same operating system. This transition was not previously possible because Windows on ARM was not available.

“Our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies has allowed us to offer our new computing modules with high-performance, low-power technology that incorporates the superior quality that Tria is known for,” said Christian Bauer, Product Marketing Manager at Tria Technologies. “This family of modules is the only one compatible with multiple operating systems and competitively priced.”.

“The multi-OS compatibility of Tria’s new modules, based on Qualcomm’s Dragonwing and Snapdragon platforms, allows customers to enjoy the flexibility of Windows, Android, and Linux across our different platforms,” said Douglas Benitez, Senior Director, Business Development at Qualcomm Europe, Inc. “Our collaboration with Tria is accelerating industrial innovation by delivering distributed AI with high-performance, low-power computing and increased speed.”.

Multiple options to cover diverse embedded computing needs.
Tria's four new products are standard SMARC (SMart Mobility Architecture COM) and OSM (Open Standard Modules) modules, designed primarily for industrial automation and robotics applications. They are as follows:

• Modules based on the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-615 processor for Linux
• Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS5430 and QCS6490 processors with a combination of Linux, Android, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise
• Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ9 processors for Linux
• Snapdragon® X Elite processor for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise

Qualcomm's Dragonwing processors, known for their performance, efficiency, and advanced AI capabilities, deliver powerful multi-core performance and excellent GPU performance along with more efficient power consumption in mobile and laptop systems.
