The UCS universal enclosures have an IP40 rating, reliably protecting the standard-sized printed circuit boards they house from intrusion by foreign objects. They can be used as desktop, wall-mounted, or DIN rail enclosures. These design-oriented enclosures are made of polycarbonate (UL V0) and are suitable for a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C. The modular design, with interchangeable enclosure components, reduces logistical costs for equipment manufacturers. They also allow for easy integration of individual interfaces for signal, data, and power transmission.
