Based on the new Intel Xeon D processor, the G25A is MEN's first CompactPCI® SBC to support two 10Gb Ethernet ports on the front, as well as PCIe 3.0 on the back. This enables seamless handling of large volumes of data.
The 4, 8, and 16-core versions of the G25A deliver concentrated computing performance and serve as a foundation for virtualization applications. The necessary software abstraction from the hardware is achieved through built-in hardware virtualization support in the CPU, the organization of 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and the scalability of the standard G25A models.
A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is available for security. Security features are implemented using ECC for RAM storage, a board management controller, and an operating system control function.
While the G25A is ready for conformal coating and can be equipped with a heatsink, as well as being embedded in a conductive cooling frame, all components are, by default, firmly soldered, ensuring resistance to shock and vibration. Therefore, the G25A is suitable for applications outside a protected server room, such as on trains or airplanes, or, of course, for complex applications in industrial environments.
Intel's minimum standard availability of 7 years and the application of the leading CompactPCI® Serial standard provide future-proofing for customer projects.
