All of these components now also have approval for atmospheres containing harmful gases according to
ISA-S71.04 GX, for offshore applications (salt spray), and in the presence of Arizona dust.
Previously, these components were approved according to ISA-S71.04 G1, G2, and G3 and were suitable for operation at 100% relative humidity, with condensation and ice formation. Siplus Extreme products are used in applications where environmental conditions preclude the use of standard Simatic automation components. These include corrosive environments, saline atmospheres, and extreme temperatures.
