The ETV 0551 is equipped with a resistive analog TFT color touchscreen (IP 54). The ETV 0552 features a glass touchscreen and IP65 front protection against dust and water. With no border between the glass touchscreen and the frame, the panel is easy to clean. The ETV 0552 can be used in harsh industrial environments, as well as in food processing, packaging, and medical technology.
The fanless control panels are based on EDGE technology, which offers high performance with low power consumption. Both ETV models incorporate 1 GB of Flash memory and 64 MB of DDR RAM. An additional 512 KB of memory is provided for data storage. An SD memory card is used for the operating system, applications, and user-specific data.
It also incorporates eight digital I/O ports.
Numerous standard interfaces, such as VARAN bus, CAN bus, Ethernet, USB, and Mini USB, are located on the underside, enabling easy integration of the ETV 0551 and 0552 into the machine structure. All interfaces can be programmed free of charge using the application. LASAL provides a fully integrated, universal engineering tool for programming and visualizing functions.

These HMIs, with powerful integrated graphics and CPUs and touch control, are available in the following sizes: 5.7, 8.4, 12.1, 15, 17, and 19 inches, as well as a 19-inch portrait format. This is a custom-made control panel.
