HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is a digital audio and video standard that allows the transfer of high definition video and multichannel digital audio between various types of devices (DTT tuners, Blu-ray players, tablets, etc.) using a single cable.

The signals that travel through the HDMI cable are encoded thanks to TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling), a system that provides the information with greater integrity and protection against piracy or improper manipulation and allows creating a key for each interconnected device so that they can be identified.integrated HDMI TFT display

HDMI is already establishing itself as a standard in industrial display applications thanks to allowing a small amount of control over other interconnected devices, such as turning on equipment, Ethernet connectivity, expanding bandwidth from 10.2 Gbps to 18 Gbps, or 48-bit color depth, among other benefits.

Monolitic offers two types of solutions to facilitate the adaptation of industrial equipment to this new system.

1. Solutions with the HDMI board integrated into the TFT

1.1 Complete Raystar HDMI System Compatible with Raspberry Pi: This system integrates a TFT screen, available in sizes from 5" to 10.1", fully compatible with the Raspberry Pi board's mounting system and its GPIO digital input/output pins for HDMI connection. We also offer the option of adding a capacitive or resistive touchscreen.

1.2 Complete HDMI Powertip System: integrates a TFT screen with sizes ranging from 4.3” to 10.1”. We also offer the option of adding a capacitive touchscreen.

2. Solutions with the HDMI board not integrated into the TFT
In those less common sizes or larger than 10.1” we can provide an HDMI solution by connecting the TFT to an external HDMI board.
