The B-348 tag allows companies to identify thick cables and wire harnesses using cable ties on buses and rail vehicles. The tag is available in white and yellow and in four sizes. It complements Brady's B-7641 low-smoke, halogen-free cable sleeve, which can be used to identify individual cables before termination.
Like the B-7641 sleeve, the B-348 cable label meets the strictest regulations for underground applications. The label fully complies with the low smoke and halogen-free requirements as described in EN-45545-2 'Requirements for the fire performance of materials and components', including R-22 'indoor' and R-23 'outdoor' for Hazard Level 3. The label for public transport applications also meets British Standard BS6853.
Large volumes of labels for public transportation and any facility can be printed on-site using a desktop printer, and a Brady handheld printer can also be used in the field to quickly label unidentified cables with the same labels. Printers compatible with the B-348 label include handheld label printers such as the BMP61 and BMP71, and desktop systems such as the BBP12, BBP33, and the BradyPrinter i7100 industrial label printer.
