For quick and easy assembly, ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY offers the world's first family of OLED displays with 2.54 mm pitch connection pins. These displays can be soldered directly or connected to power strips. Therefore, cumbersome gluing procedures or the need to design a special mounting device are a thing of the past, as are error-prone cable connections.
Because individual OLED pixels are illuminated, these displays do not require additional backlighting like LCD displays. As a result, OLED displays feature a very flat design (typically 2.4 mm), wide viewing angles (up to 170°), high contrast ratios (2,000:1), fast response times (typically 10 μs), and high overall brightness (100 cd/m²).
These features, together with an extended temperature range (-40 to +80°C) and a long service life (at least 50,000 h, up to 100,000 h are possible), make them particularly suitable for mounting on robust portable handheld devices for outdoor use.
The excellent ratio between external dimensions and active display area helps to design very compact devices. In addition to the standard yellow or white-on-black display, special designs with green, red, or blue are also available upon request with a minimum order quantity of 500 units. The devices can be controlled via an SPI interface and an I2C interface.

The EA OLEDL128-6 provides a graphics display resolution of 128 x 64 pixels. It is approximately 68 millimeters wide and almost 48 millimeters high. The active display area ratio is approximately 62 percent. The display is available in three different versions: a robust "Allround" version with a protective glass and an integrated polarizer for deep black backgrounds; a slim "Flat" version without a protective glass but with a component height of only 2.4 millimeters; and an elegant "Designer" version without a polarizer for mounting behind smoked glass, for example. This display version features a glossy silver background and is even brighter.
The EA OLEDM128-6 is slightly smaller (55 mm x 43 mm) while offering the same resolution. It is available in "Allround" and "Flat" versions.
The EA OLEDS102-6 display unit offers a resolution of 102 x 64 pixels (39 mm x 38 mm). It is available in "Allround" and "Flat" versions.
The EA OLEDM204 is a text display with 4 x 20 characters or 3 x 20 characters, as well as 2 x 20 characters in double font size. This display measures 61 mm x 26 mm and is also available in "Allround" and "Flat" versions.
Numerous accessories, such as a USB breadboard, power sockets, a PCAP touch panel, and a resistive touch panel, complete the ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY product range.
