The B360 is part of the Getac Select™ program, which leverages Getac's extensive industry experience to create robust, comprehensive IT solutions for specialized industrial applications. Therefore, it is available in two distinct models from the outset: the B360, ideal for the public safety, industrial, and utility sectors, and the B360 Pro, optimized for the defense sector.
The B360 is only 34.9 mm thick and weighs 2.32 kg. Despite its compact size, the B360 features a 13.3" LumiBond® 2.0 display for optimal use in all situations and weather conditions. The latest 802.11ax Wi-Fi offers wireless speeds up to three times faster than previous generations. Two standard hot-swappable batteries provide full functionality between charges, while optional GPS makes mapping, surveying, and field tracking quick and easy.
An optional barcode scanner also provides fast and convenient information gathering at an incident scene.
The B360 Pro includes all the core technology specifications of the B360, plus a number of additional features and options essential for military personnel. Hot-swappable, high-capacity batteries provide extended operating time between charges, while additional serial ports allow for direct connection of legacy and/or custom military equipment to the unit. Customers also have the option of using a PCMCIA, ExpressCard, or discrete graphics card, as well as a DVD or Blu-ray drive as needed.
