This new printer is lightweight, durable, and compact, and features a variety of print interface options to enable high-quality, fast, and cost-effective printing in a range of fast-paced environments.
The PV4 delivers high print speeds of 127 mm/s (5 ips) and can print at a resolution of 8 dots/mm (203 dpi), allowing for the production of top-quality labels. The labeling solution also incorporates built-in third-party emulation software, enabling seamless integration into existing workflows without impacting operation or productivity.
The PV4 is a complementary product to SATO's PV3 handheld printer and addresses the limitations of the 3-inch (76 mm) and 4-inch (101.6 mm) printer family. It can also print more information on labels compared to SATO's PV3 or PW2NX handheld printers.
The printer also outperforms SATO's MB4 printer. The PV4 boasts faster printing speeds, improved Wi-Fi connectivity, and enhanced Bluetooth interface performance. The new handheld printer has also undergone drop testing from 1.8 meters and features four times the battery capacity for extended use.
