The Zortrax M200 and M300 3D printers, which utilize LPD printing technology, are very reasonably priced, reliable, efficient, and offer exceptional quality with high dimensional accuracy. This allows for the printing of detailed, high-quality items that faithfully reproduce models without losing their original appearance, as well as handling large print jobs with minimal maintenance.
The M200 printer features an integrated plug-and-play system, allowing users to operate the printer immediately. It includes a starter kit, intuitive Z-SUITE software, and compatible materials. M200 specifications: 200 x 200 x 180 mm build volume; 90 to 400 micron resolution; 400 micron (minimum) to 800 micron (optimal) thickness; and a single printable dot resolution of 400 microns. Other key specifications include a 1.75 mm material diameter and a 0.4 mm nozzle diameter.
The printer's physical dimensions are 345 x 360 x 430 mm without the filament spool and 345 x 430 x 430 mm with it. Additional options include the Hotend V2, the Perforated Bed V2, and side covers that maintain a stable temperature during printing and cooling, reducing the risk of warping or cracking.
There are materials of varying professional grades, qualities, and colors to meet different design requirements, such as Z-ABS, Z-ULTRAT, Z-HIPS, and Z-PCABS. Z-ULTRAT filament comes in various pastel shades of yellow, pink, violet, blue, and turquoise; Z-ABS in pure white and black; Z-PCABS is an ivory-colored ABS polycarbonate filament; and Z-HIPS is black. The range also offers materials with high resistance to mechanical stress, temperature, and even chemicals.
The Zortrax M300 3D printer builds upon the features of the M200, offering a larger build volume of 300 x 300 x 300 mm, a resolution of 140 to 300 microns, an optimal thickness of 800 microns, and a unique printable dot resolution of 400 microns. The M300 is ideal for designs using Z-HIPS material and provides a spool preview feature, allowing users to check material usage and color. The M300 package includes the printer, side covers, a starter kit, a key for Z-SUITE software, and two spools of material.
Compatible with STL, OBJ, DXF, and 3MF file formats, both printers support Mac OS X/Windows 7 and later versions and have access to a convenient model library. Available accessories for both printers include the Zortrax 40 x 40 mm fan cooler and an extruder cable with adapter.
