The TM30S, TM20S, and TM6S models expand the payload capacity and reach of the series for applications such as palletizing, machine tending, and precision handling.
New models in the TM S series:
The expanded range includes the following:
· TM30S: A 30 kg payload model designed for heavy-duty collaborative tasks, including palletizing and machine tending.
· TM20S: A 20 kg payload unit offering greater reach for medium- to high-load operations.
· TM6S: A long-reach model with a 6 kg payload, optimized for precision handling, welding support, and mobile robot integration.
OMRON has incorporated improvements across the entire S-Series to increase durability and enable faster relocation. All robotic arms now feature an IP65 rating for use in washdown or dust-prone environments. The higher-capacity models (TM25S, TM30S) incorporate an integrated force and torque sensor in the wrist of joint 6 to enhance force-controlled processes. The updated, vision-based Landmark 2.0 positioning system is designed to reduce recalibration time when moving robots between stations.
OMRON has also released TMflow 2.22, an update to its no-code programming environment. The new version introduces more detailed safety configuration options, expands remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities, and incorporates a higher-fidelity simulation engine. Integrated vision tools have been enhanced to deliver greater accuracy in inspection, pick-and-place tasks. “By introducing the TM30S, TM20S, and TM6S models, along with crucial improvements such as IP65 certification and the integrated force and torque sensor in joint 6, we are helping our customers automate their most demanding and heavy-duty tasks with greater safety, accuracy, and flexibility than ever before. TMflow 2.22 ensures that this power remains easy to program and manage, reinforcing our commitment to harmonized automation,” says Qiqi Wang, Global Product Manager for OMRON Robotics and Safety Technologies.
