TDK-EPC , a TDK Corporation company , has developed a wide range of EPCOS MKP and MKT film capacitors with low insertion heights. The new B32*6T series capacitors, with a main terminal spacing of 37.5 mm, feature a characteristic insertion height of only 15 or 19 mm. These components are designed for nominal voltages from 63 to 2000 VDC or 250 to 400 VAC. Their capacitance ranges from 0.1 µF to 82 µF. Depending on the type and technology (MKT or MKP), these capacitors are designed for maximum operating temperatures of 105°C, 110°C, or 125°C.

The Omron A6SN sliding DIP switch incorporates a high-pressure knife-edge mechanism that ensures more reliable and consistent contact operation. This design breaks away any solder residue during switch actuation. The switch also uses a temperature-resistant resin that allows reflow soldering with peak temperatures up to 260°C.

Murata announces the KCM series of monolithic ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs), developed for automotive applications. Equipped with metal pins, these capacitors are designed to reliably withstand the stresses of substrate contraction and expansion under thermal loads in automotive engine compartments. They also feature high resistance to vibration and shock.

Ericsson offers two new isolated DC/DC power converters in a 1/6 brick format, providing a current output of up to 20 A, or an equivalent output power of 100 W. The new PKU-C series was developed in response to the growing demand from midrange IT applications migrating to multi-output power modules for fully regulated intermediate bus converters, and which require compact DC/DC modules to save space in applications requiring profiles of 9 mm or less.

Datel, a Murata Power Solutions business unit, announces the SHM-14, a high-speed, 14-bit sample-and-hold amplifier designed for extremely fast data acquisition applications. With a full-power bandwidth of 70 MHz and a small-signal bandwidth of 250 MHz, the SHM-14 achieves 12-bit and 14-bit acquisitions at less than 25 ns (+/- 0.012%) and 35 ns (+/- 0.003%), respectively. This low-power, high-precision device features a 1 ps start-up jitter and output noise as low as 65 µVrms.
