Specifically, attendees were able to see Linear Technology's digital power management products for controlling and monitoring power supplies. Linear also offered demonstrations of a new family of µModule® buck-boost regulators that simplify complex power circuits, and the LT8640, a 42V, 5A synchronous buck-switched regulator based on the Silent Switcher® architecture. The LT3042, a 20V, 200mA ultra-low noise, ultra-high PSRR RF linear regulator, was also unveiled. APEC attendees were able to visit the Linear booth to see a working demonstration of PMBus/Linduino™, Linear Technology's Arduino-compatible system for developing and distributing firmware libraries and example code for Linear integrated circuits.

Michael Jones, an applications engineer at Linear, was present at the IS3 event, entitled “PMBus Firmware: Using Arduino for Prototyping & Designing PMBus Solutions”.
