Rawlins, who will celebrate his 50th year at Anglia next year, believes the company's continued independence has helped it innovate and remain financially strong. Despite the challenges of the post-COVID years, Anglia has introduced several new initiatives that are driving business growth. Semiconductor giant STMicroelectronics (ST) encouraged Anglia to expand its Anglia Live e-commerce platform to cover the EU, in addition to the UK and Ireland, and this business is steadily growing, significantly expanding Anglia's available market and customer base. Anglia has also introduced a customer loyalty program, a free sample service, and various green initiatives, all within the last two years.
