The company has chosen Cegasa to develop its new lithium batteries, under the name SelectCell. This solution is based on the Spanish company's lithium-ion technology, and Cegasa manufactures its solutions entirely at the Álava Technology Park. Cegasa is providing Selectronic with its extensive experience in energy storage manufacturing to offer a distinctive product with high potential for the energy transition.

Its implementation will allow Selectronic to offer an energy solution for its inverters and batteries, providing more options to the market. The solution was presented at All Energy in Melbourne, the most important energy trade show in Australia.

In the words of Ramón Ugarte, Commercial and Lithium Systems Director at Cegasa: “This agreement between our company and Selectronic represents a great opportunity to internationalize our batteries and raise our profile in such an important and promising market as Australia. Furthermore, it allows us to strengthen our position as one of Europe's leading lithium battery manufacturers. This is not the first time we have worked with Selectronic, and we couldn't be happier to continue collaborating with a company that shares our values: investing in energy storage as a solution to current energy challenges.”
