“I was drawn to Alliance Electronics’ industrial project, which will accelerate the growth of TME and Elekto without compromising their core identity,” says Bruno Sonnet, CEO of both companies. “The excellence of the TME and Elekto teams will allow Alliance to enrich its offering by producing complex circuit boards,” adds Damien Rossignon, President of Alliance Electronics. Armel Fourreau, CEO of Alliance Electronics, adds: “Elekto and TME customers will be able to benefit from the expertise of the other Alliance members in simpler products and higher volumes, while maintaining close relationships with their existing contacts.”

TME and Elekto are headquartered in Gorron and Andouillé, in the Mayenne region of France, and specialize in the manufacture and integration of electronic boards, assemblies, and subassemblies. Their high-value-added offerings range from prototyping to medium-sized production runs for a diverse, international customer base in the fields of image processing, medicine, aerospace, defense, and industry.

The two companies join the five existing members of Alliance Electronics (ACE Electronics, Altrics France, Altrics Portugal, ATEMS, and Proto-Electronics), which together employ approximately 1,000 people. Bruno Sonnet will remain a shareholder in both entities through his investment in Alliance Electronics. Combined with other ongoing acquisitions, this will enable Alliance Electronics to reach its target of €100 million in revenue by 2022, thanks to the support of its financial partner, Waterland Private Equity.
