For José Antonio Erdozia, CEO of COUTH, this step confirms that: “We are continuing with our strategic expansion plan, initiated in 2016, creating an industrial group that is growing in high value-added areas with a promising future. The acquisition of E2M allows us to enter the market for developing intelligent solutions and systems to improve the efficiency of production processes.”.

E2M is a company founded in Barcelona in 1993 specializing in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of machine vision equipment and systems for 100% quality control of production on mass production lines. The company currently exports 60% of its production and has a presence in more than 40 countries.

The integration of E2M into COUTH allows the group to strengthen its range of high value-added solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of production processes, combining cutting-edge systems in industrial traceability with sensorization through artificial vision and the development of artificial intelligence systems, through data analytics and deep learning.

Furthermore, the operation allows the Gipuzkoa-based industrial group to expand and diversify its activities and offer integrated solutions in sectors such as food, beverages and pharmaceuticals, which are added to the current sectors in which they have a presence, such as automotive, aeronautical, railway and oil & gas, among others.
