KEOLABS won in the hardware category with IoTize. IoTize is a flexible communication solution that can contribute to the continued growth of the Internet of Things. This solution utilizes common communication interfaces (e.g., NFC, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Wi-Fi) and existing embedded solutions that currently lack a network connection. No expert knowledge or changes to existing hardware and software are required to connect IoTize. IoTize uses the system processor's debug interface to log relevant communication data. Even without the debug interface, IoTize can be used to connect serial interfaces to achieve the same functionality.
QNX Software Systems won in the software category with its QNX for Safety operating system.
The number of embedded systems that must be developed and certified according to functional safety standards is constantly growing. QNX has developed a special operating system, pre-certified to IEC 61508:2010 SIL 3, to effectively support developers in this task. The system enables the rapid development of solutions for industrial systems, railway systems, robotics, medical diagnostics, surgical techniques, and automotive applications.
GÖPEL electronics won the award in the tools category with JEDOS (JTAG Embedded Diagnostics OS).
GÖPEL has embarked on a completely new path for embedded system diagnostics with JEDOS. This specially developed diagnostic and test operating system is capable of performing real-time tests of functional circuits on the native processor.
