Among these teams is the Spanish firm First V1sion, which has presented a wearable sports broadcasting system using a "first-person camera" approach that allows the public to experience the action from the athletes' point of view.
The First V1sion team is a group of entrepreneurs who were inspired by the excitement of experiencing their favorite sports from the athlete's perspective. They sought to put themselves in the shoes of their idols, experiencing something similar to what motorsport and Formula 1 fans already enjoy, watching the driver's experience through cameras mounted on helmets and in vehicles. The First V1sion team tested the product with a professional football player from La Liga and applied what they learned to their project, aiming to create a device for sports such as football, basketball, and tennis. First V1sion uses Intel® Edison and integrates a camera and a radio frequency transmitter, designed to be in contact with the human body, thus allowing fans to enjoy their favorite sports from the player's point of view.
