Hybrid Energy, headquartered in Lysaker, Norway, will enhance Johnson Controls’ ability to meet high-temperature heating needs with a hybrid heat pump at its core. Thanks to its patented technology, Hybrid Energy’s solutions can achieve temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Celsius using natural refrigerants with an ultra-low global warming potential. With rapidly growing market potential, solutions like those from Hybrid Energy will help the European Union reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 and achieve the Green Deal goal of climate neutrality by 2050, all while reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
