This strategic tender from Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) includes specific and advanced technical features to guarantee homogeneity and efficiency across the entire network. It stipulates that each interlocking system will have a single power module, adaptable to three-phase, single-phase, or three-phase 220V systems. This flexibility ensures that FGC technicians can interchange modules or equipment as needed, without additional concerns. Salicru's equipment, designed to automatically detect and configure itself according to the input voltage, meets this requirement.
Furthermore, for reasons of space and efficiency, it is specified that equipment in interlocking systems up to 20 kVA may only have one power cabinet, integrating the batteries and electronics into a single unit, and accessible only from the front. Each unit will have 60 minutes of autonomy at the interlocking power and a battery configuration with at least two protected branches, allowing battery replacement in one branch without affecting the operation of the other.
A crucial feature of the SLC ADAPT2 equipment is its compliance with the UNE-EN 50124-4 and UNE-EN 50121-5 standards for electromagnetic compatibility in the railway sector, guaranteeing the protection of critical and sensitive equipment. In terms of connectivity and monitoring, the equipment is compatible with the existing UNMS II monitoring system and includes the Nimbus Cloud system, which allows technicians to receive alerts via a mobile application, facilitating proactive and efficient maintenance.
Salicru also commits to a maximum response time of 2 hours in case of breakdown or emergency,24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This level of technical support reflects the company's commitment to quality and reliability, ensuring continuous and secure network operation.
Salicru was already present in the Catalan railway's energy infrastructure, with devices installed in 13 power substations across its network. These are POWER-L DC voltage rectifiers, used with charging systems for stationary batteries, and based on microprocessor-controlled thyristor technology, offering top-quality and reliable protection for critical DC loads.
